The entire box will have to be removed from the trucks frame. Then, a new bed will have to be installed since this one is rusted out completely. Hopefully the parts truck will have a decent bed. If not, then one will have to be fabricated. The smaller pieces have already been removed off the bed. The next step is to get under the truck and begin removing all of the hold down bolts. Most likely they will all be rusted together, (just like the bumpers), so they'll either have to be cut off, or broken off using an impact gun. The box is warped slightly, which is causing problems for the tailgate to close properly. The sides of the box will have to be pulled together with a winch to straighten things out. The original tailgate is very rusty and will have to be replaced by another. Many tailgates were stamped with the Dodge logo, but the Dodge Dude tailgate was flat and had a decal placed upon it. So, a replacement will have to match so as to correctly keep with the Dude stylings.
