The instructors at Creative Guitar come from different
backgrounds, but all have one thing in common: They are all
active working professionals in the music business.
Throughout the studio calendar year different guest artists will also visit and teach at Creative Guitar. These guest instructors will appear as their schedules permit.

Andrew founded Creative Guitar Studio in 1992. He has studied in Canada and the United States at the Musicians Institute, (G.I.T.), in Hollywood, California. Andrew is the author of all of the curriculum for the guitar department as well as the books; “Using the Major Scale Modes,” and, “Accelerating Your Learning Curve.” His self-titled debut smooth jazz CD was released in 2006.

Greg is one of Canada’s most respected jazz guitar performers and jazz educator’s. He writes and produces music for planetarium shows, theatre, and radio drama. He has recorded four full length jazz guitar albums and is the author of the Creative Guitar Studio book, "Advanced Guitar Technique."

Derrick is a highly respected rock guitarist. He has released three CD’s and performed across Canada with renown players like; Patrick Moraz, Randy Coven, and Phil X. He currently performs with legendary Canadian rock band, "Harlequin."

Barry G. Player
Barry is an established player in Western Canada’s music scene. He is a graduate of Hollywood, California's Guitar Institute of Technology, (G.I.T.), and he is the regional winner of Canada's, "Guitar Warz," competition. Barry has extensive experience as a nightclub, concert, session player, and instructor. Visit Barry on the net:
Tim is a highly respected jazz guitarist with extensive live and studio experience across Canada. He has performed with The Moscow Circus, Disney on Parade and the Winnipeg Symphony.
